As a manager on the Communications & Engagement team, you'll oversee our ecosystem of websites, in partnership with technical teams, and support the renewal of our websites in a new cloud-based Drupal environment. You'll also oversee our intranet, which is the hub for more than 26,000 employees across the province. You are a supportive team player who views your role as helping and enabling your colleagues' success, as much as securing support for your own.

Together with a growing team of web content strategists, you'll ensure that website and intranet content is user-focused and aligned with organizational strategies and standards. Your approach to content design will include user experience (UX) methodologies, web content development, information architecture, search engine optimization, plain language and WCAG accessibility best practices.

You'll thoughtfully balance the maintenance of our websites with the roadmap for renewal as we migrate to Drupal over the coming years. This will require close collaboration with website sponsors, senior and executive leaders, and communications team members across programs, and the creation and implementation of new content governance processes and change management plans to ensure websites are supporting program goals.

You will also occasionally participate in a scheduled roster to help cover PHSA's after-hours website needs.
