We're looking for a Senior Communications Advisor to join our head office located in Vernon,British Columbia.Our head office houses Tolko's corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a strategic communications role.University degree in Public Relations/Communications.
Proven execution of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies in a corporate environment.
Strategic communications planning and project management experience .
Experience in development and execution of both internal and external communication strategies and tactics in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills .
Superior relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize collaborative engagement with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
Experience in the forestry industry, or other resource-based manufacturing business considered an asset.

Provide strategic counsel and communications support to Tolko leaders and team members at all levels of the organization.

Prepare briefs for senior management as required.Travel frequently to operations sites (anticipate a minimum of once per quarter).
