_ Consultant__ in Etobicoke_**As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department. You will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and ordering the right automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles. Additionally, you will need to maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

Job Duties:


  • Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high quality service
  • Answer telephone calls, provide price quotes any other information needed
  • Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
  • Constant and consistent follow up on current orders and back orders
  • Keeping paperwork accurately maintained
  • Receive payments from retail customers
  • Handle customer concerns immediately and according to the dealerships guidelines.
  • Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjusting inventory system and assuring all safety risks
  • Being a team player by assisting other coworkers with daily tasks and duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager
  • At least 1 year of Automotive Parts experience
  • No previous experience necessary.
  • Experience using a DMS
  • PBS in particular is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow set and standard procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed
  • Ability to work independently and take selfinitiative
  • Basic computer skills and a comfort with learning new software and systems
  • Must have a full drivers licence and clean drivers abstract
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs
