    Description

    KLF Group (or Loyalty Source) is a Canadian distribution company specializing in the loyalty and incentive industry. We provide a wide range of merchandise rewards in Canada with top brand names, catering to various incentive markets for employee and customer recognition. Based in Montreal, Loyalty Source is a forward-thinking and dynamic company that has experienced rapid growth since its establishment in 2005.

    KLF is searching for a right-hand person to the COO/Managing Director: a versatile individual adept at Vendor relations and Supplier management. The chosen candidate will be involved in all aspects of the business, supporting the team in client account planning and operations to meet client needs and expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Procurement/Vendor Management/Catalog Management/Pricing Strategy

    • Ensure the best catalog selection in Canada
    • Thorough understanding of brands and products represented by KLF Group
    • Update and curate the current catalog, including pricing, new products, and brand additions
    • Add relevant brands to the market and attend product shows
    • Ensure catalog meets market needs
    • Enhance buying efficiency and inventory turnover
    • Analyze and optimize sourcing strategy for seasonal stock availability and cost reduction
    • Inform customers and sales team of product discontinuations and substitutes
    • Maintain and enhance vendor relationships
    • Negotiate discounts, volume rebates, and pricing competitiveness

    Operations

    • Lead logistics department for efficient sourcing, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping
    • Streamline operations and enhance cross-departmental communication
    • Understand proprietary ERP system and collaborate with IT for improvements
    • Assist in analyzing and implementing WMS and ERP software upgrades
    • Establish and track operational and administrative KPIs

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
    • 7+ years of relevant business experience
    • Engagement with vendors, negotiation experience, and sales background
    • Strong business acumen and passion for consumer products
    • Exceptional client-facing abilities
    • Effective multitasking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent English and French communication skills
    • Accountability, adaptability, and result-oriented mindset
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Resourcefulness, autonomy, and a creative approach to problem-solving
