    As an NXP automotive products FAE you'll utilize your technical & interpersonal skills to drive demand creation for the America's.

    During pre and post sales engagements with customers you'll move opportunities into design wins and on to production.

    You'll partner with local Avnet branch FAE's and Account Managers, along with NXP sales management, to identify new customer projects in:

    automotive motor drive applications; and industrial safety applications, to define and execute the account sales strategy, and maintain support throughout the customer's product development cycle.

    Deliver NXP automotive product roadmaps, features, solutions, and competitive positioning in a persuasive and engaging manner during customer pre-sales meetings.

    # Responsible for understanding the technical requirements/specifications of the customer's product and architecting an optimum NXP based automotive device solution.
    # Provide NXP technical expertise on product enablement: documentation, NXP and 3rd party tools, demos, reference designs, solutions, etc.
    # Work with your Avnet peers, and NXP technical resources, to debug and resolve customer technical support issues.
    # Train customer engineers, and Avnet FAE's, on the NXP automotive applications, product portfolio, and enablement tools.

    # Work Experience:

    Minimum experience required is typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
    Experience in Automotive system design and development processes – vehicle architectures, ISO26262, PPAP, preproduction stages.
    ~ Working knowledge of automotive communications standards such as CAN, LIN & Automotive Ethernet.
    ~ Ability to solve MPU/MCU/embedded systems technical problems by leading the customer through the debug process.
    ~ Embedded Linux development, with C/C++ experience, is a plus.
    ~ Automotive power supply experience is a plus.
