Pastry Cook

Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes and established standards
Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and icing
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness
Collaborate with the culinary team to create new pastry items and seasonal menus
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation guidelines
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor

Skills:

Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce highquality pastries
Excellent time management skills to meet production schedules and deadlines
Attention to detail and precision in decorating pastries
Creativity in developing new pastry flavors and designs
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
