We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Pension & Benefits Representative to join our People team in Langley, BC.

_This position is expected to last 12 months._


You will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support for the Defined Benefit Pension Plan (DBPP) Pension Plan including the calculation of benefits using the inhouse Pension Administration System.
  • Providing administrative support for the Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP) Pension Plan and Group RRSP/TFSA products.
  • Answering and responding to inquiries using ServiceNow to manage tickets and incoming inquiries.
  • Running weekly and monthly reports, and processes for both internal and external customers including processing adjustments and corrections as needed.
  • Maintaining employee records in HRIS.
  • Benefits administration duties, such as maintenance of benefits documentation and plan information. Works on a variety of benefit plans/divisions.
  • Performing other benefits and pension duties as required.

You have:

  • 13 years of previous office administration experience, ideally with a background in pension and benefits. Proficiency with Office 365 including, Teams, MS Word, and Excel. Experience with Workday is an asset. An understanding of Employment Standards and collective agreements as they relate to employee benefit and pension programs. Completed or are working towards a CEBS designation is an asset.
