You will be responsible for:
- Leading, implementing, and maintaining all HR initiatives aligned to the overall business goals and strategies.
- Supporting and driving the implementation of the organization's strategic HR and compensation programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Advising leadership in areas of team member and leadership development, organizational change, performance management, succession planning, attendance management, complaint resolution, harassment investigations, and disciplinary action.
- Identifying and addressing employee relations issues and maintaining the reporting and investigation processes.
- Driving initiatives to promote employee engagement and a productive and positive work culture.
- Assisting in research, development, and implementation of HR related projects.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational HR policies, relevant WorkSafe regulations, employment law requirements and other regulations as required.
- Communicating key People messages, programs, and initiatives to internal stakeholders.
- Acting as the point of contact for leaders and team members within supported business areas of the organization.
You have:
- At least 35 years of experience in an HR capacity, preferably in a large and complex organization, complemented with functional experience in recruitment, performance/talent management, succession planning and employee relations.
- HR experience in a retail environment (considered an asset).
- Postsecondary education or diploma in Human Resources or related education considered a strong asset.
- Strong working knowledge of Employment Standards Act, Human Rights, and other relevant employment legislations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- A CPHR designation or are working towards designation (considered an asset).
- Ability to travel on an asneeded basis.

Compensation Details:
$74, $99,938.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
