Job Description:


We are looking for someone to manage a diverse portfolio of business management and reporting activities for our
Broker Channel.

Draw on what you know to generate processes and procedures that address TD's business management, reporting strategy and governance objectives.

Find ways to influence the strategic direction of the business management function (and interact regularly with management and Executive Team).

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:


  • Help shape TD's business management & reporting function's strategic direction by bringing
    Broker Channel strategies to life in support of TD's overall business vision.
  • Plan, lead, manage and/or oversee a diverse set of activities and integrated them effectively across multiple functional areas.
  • Role provides technical delivery and oversight across our
    Broker Channel Performance Management practices as well as Leadership and Guidance on the specific items below:
  • Focus on Performance Management & Reporting evolution, Monitoring (i.e. Deliver and ensure high degree of governance, accuracy and integrity in reporting; monitor usage and utilization behaviors)


  • Channel Inquiry Support

  • Act as centralized 'senior' escalation point control for reporting support (mgmt. vs. nonmgmt inquiries); outlet to support channel with foundational reporting and data proficiency elements
  • Tools & Process Reporting Capabilities Assessments (Opportunity Identification) in (1) support of foundational elements and (2) what else could unlock additional value
  • Building and ownership of In-Channel reporting tools (new or existing) that help drive value back to Colleagues in the field
  • Grow as a thought leader in
    Broker Channel data & analytics space, encourage and facilitate discussion with executive audiences (with outputs which may include: roadmap, strategic plan/deliverables/frameworks, short
- and long-term goals).

  • Pinpoint
    Broker Channel data & reporting issues, seize opportunity, know the trends and provide specialized business management advice to senior management and respective teams (plus raise industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness).
  • Advocate for and manage relationships with corporate (Data & Analytics partners) and control functions (G&C 1a, SSF Oversight 1b, etc).
  • Maintain a culture of data & reporting risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure an in alignment with risk appetite.
  • Assess, identify and escalate key issues appropriately, recommend actions.
  • Respect enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to business management activities.
  • Ensure business operations comply with internal and external requirements (e.g. data governance).
  • Drive relevant governance meetings or committees and related deliverables and outcomes.
  • Lead, facilitate or actively generate action and remediation plans that address performance measurement issues.

BREADTH & DEPTH

  • Data Transformation (ETL) competencies & experience
  • Design, development, as well as, implementation of practice management for SQL, MDX, Tableau, and/or PowerQuery would be considered valuable assets
  • Experienced professional role providing specialized guidance/ assistance to function supported
  • Thought leadership and/or industry knowledge specific (but not limited to) your own area o
