In this relationship-based sales role you will report to the General Manager and will assist in maintaining commitments as we expand.

You will grow your territory (and your earnings) by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships within your existing accounts.

This will require that you call on engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and others to determine their needs through a consultative approach to help clients achieve superior performance.


Duties include are but not limited to:

  • Responsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing territory
  • Prospect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefits
  • Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects
  • Respond to customer product inquiries
  • Engage in direct sales activities
  • Promote existing and new products
- anticipate client direction and objectives

  • Effectively manage a sales territory
  • Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships
  • Attend training and sales meetings as required
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • 35 years experience of sales type position in the industry market
  • Preference will be given to individuals that show mechanical aptitude and have experience in industrial type sales; hydraulic, bearing and/or power transmission
  • Be sales, service and customer oriented
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Have good organizational skills
  • Ability to prospect for new clients
  • Maintain customer relations and build new relationships
  • Analytical and problemsolving capability
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Self motivated and the ability to work independently
  • Deliver on growth and profitability
