Description
As a Machine Builder/Mechanical Assembler, you will fit and assemble components according to blueprints, manuals, and engineering memos to assemble premium quality, purpose-built forestry equipment.
Day Shift: 5 x 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities may include:
- Installing hydraulic hoses and fittings
- Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolt, screw, and rivet parts together, using hand and power tools
- Inspect, operate, and test completed machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications
- Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists
- Set and verify parts clearances
- Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies
- Read and interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals
- Fasten or install wiring, hydraulic and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies
Skills and Experience:
- Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts
- Basic knowledge of tool, gauge and instrument operations
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and organized
- Must possess basic math skills
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and assembly drawings
- Must be adaptable to changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Punctual and reliable
