We are looking for an engaged, dynamic and creative project manager and scrum master who will support the agencies objectives to develop agile, flexible and efficient systems and processes.

We want to find leaders who are able, to not only to work with teams, but also to facilitate and lead them in their development path towards maturity.

We are searching for an individual who live the agile principles and inspire their teams to do likewise by example.

Our team of professionals are passionate about improving the lives of Canadians by leading processes and projects that truly make a difference.

The results of this competition may be used to staff similar term or indeterminate positions within the NSERC or SSHRC.

Job Summary:

Statement of Qualifications:

Education:

Foreign Credential Validation against Canadian Standards

Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Business Administration or a related field, or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience

Assets:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Agile training or certification

Experience:

Experience in the management of information technology projects and of their implementation
Experience leading multi-disciplinary information technology project teams
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders
Experience leading Agile teams in a Scrum Master capacity

Knowledge:

Knowledge of project management best practices
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC)

Facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Support the continuous growth of an Agile Team
