NWI Precision's 120,000 sq. ft. facility is located at 9 Fenmar Drive in Toronto.

Our dedicated team of approximately 200 employees focus on delivering quality products, to specifications on time, in the production of specialized cylindrical components.

Our skilled labour team is trained on multiple machines within their discipline.


This includes:

drill & bore, CNC lathe, manual lathe, milling, turn & mill, Grinding, OD spline and thread grind, thread roll, NDT, Dimensional CMM, manual visual inspection, deburr & polish, and many more skilled specialties.

NWI Precision meets NADCAP, AS9100D accreditations and certifications.

experienced CNC Mill Machinist

Position Description:

Our priority is hiring for the Afternoon shift with a start time of 4:30pm. Working hours may be extended during demand periods to meet customer delivery dates. Team members are required to complete internal training during the first 3 months of employment on the day shift.


Machinist Qualifications include:


  • Five (5) years' experience in Aerospace manufacturing preferred
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Machining experience with high quality metals such as Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, stainless steel
  • Working knowledge and demonstrated accurate use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, depth micrometer
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Certificate or Machinist knowledge in the areas of lathe, drilling, milling and/or manual machinist. Relevant years of experience is an asset
  • Machining experience with OKK, OKUMA and MAZAK is an asset
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English both written and spoken
  • Must be able to interpret written work procedures
  • Clear Background Records Check
  • Meet the registration requirements of the Controlled Goods Program
  • Able to work in Canada, Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Regular 8hour shifts Monday to Friday, overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Opportunity for overtime by extending regular shift and/or weekend shifts.
  • Premium Shift Differential for Afternoon Shift afternoon shift begins at 4:30pm. Shift premium begins on all shift starting after 12:30pm

Pay:
$19.66-$33.44 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
