a leading manufacturer of Aggregate and Lowbed Trailers in Western Canada is seeking a Shot Blaster to join our team.


THE OPPORTUNITY:

The position of Shot Blaster will provide daily Shot Blasting of trailers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Shot Blast trailers and trailer parts in a Shot Blast booth environment.
  • Experience in shot blasting large equipment.
  • In some cases, able shot blast one piece of equipment without stopping till units is finished
  • Maintain daily and weekly preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • A good understanding or familiar with MOD-UBLAST equipment
  • Able to perform shot blast profile measurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must have a minimum of 12 years' experience on large equipment.
  • Physically fit to move shot blast by hand in some case and reload blast hopper.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
  • Some knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Experience in the heavy trailer industry or similar.
  • Experience using MOD-UBLAST equipment.

HOURS:
Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM.

Experience:

- shot blasting: 1 year (preferred)
