The Guest Services Manager and Hotel Controller


Department:
Guest Services & Accounting


Shifts:
Hour are 10:45pm - 7:15am, (Over Night) weekdays, weekends and holidays included.


Duties:
As a Night Auditor at the Delta Hotels by Marriott, you will be essential to our guest experience.

  • Register arriving guests / process guest departures
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Answering guest inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Creating accurate reservations
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Desk
  • Clear and concise passon communication with colleagues and leaders in the department
  • Balancing front office and food & beverage daily postings and preparing necessary audit paperwork.
  • Complete all "End of Day" Activities
  • Preparing and distributing daily reports for various departments.
  • Ensuring guest safety and security.
  • Outstanding guest service skills
  • Speak, read and write in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Strong Decision making and organizational skills
  • Multitasking proficiency
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Must have basic computer experience [including but not limited to: Excel, Word and Opera property management system]
  • Minimum of 2 years in a frontline customer service environment (required)
  • Previous Guest Service/Front Desk experience is an asset
  • Bilingual (French) is an asset
  • Experience in working back shift hours
