Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will oversee project workflows, coordinate between teams, and ensure that all project phases progress smoothly from inception to completion. Your proactive approach will help us deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope, while maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects and develop your expertise in project management software and construction processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and construction management software to track progress and deadlines.
- Coordinate daily activities across multiple teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and task execution.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to support accurate project planning and execution.
- Support cost estimation efforts by gathering data for construction estimating and managing project budgets.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, including progress updates, risk assessments, and change orders.
- Facilitate effective communication by organizing meetings, documenting action items, and distributing relevant information promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with construction site coordination or project management in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, HeavyBid, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and contracts.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Experience with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
