Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Aide will assist in providing personal care and emotional support to patients following established guidelines and principles of Hillside Interior Acute Psychiatric Centre; Tertiary Mental Health and Addictions Services, and Interior Health.

About Hillside Centre:
Hillside Centre is a 47-bed inpatient tertiary psychiatric facility located in Kamloops, BC, offering specialized treatment for individuals with complex mental health disorders. The center focuses on diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders, implementing psychosocial rehabilitation strategies, and facilitating community reintegration.

Key Programs at Hillside:

• Neuropsychiatry
• Adult Care
• Geriatric Psychiatry
• Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Scheduling Details:
Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Shift times range from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00. This position is Casual, providing flexibility with varying work hours. There may be opportunities for permanent or temporary positions in the future.
