As an Internal Service Advisor, you will operate underthe tutelage of the Assistant Service Manager. Your task will be to provideexpeditious, methodical, and comprehensive communication with the Used CarSales Manager, Assistant Service Manager, and technicians. You will accuratelygather all pertinent information relating to repair orders, explain theproposed work, obtain the necessary authorization for all essential services,and ensure that all pre-owned vehicles receive prompt attention, leading to increasedsales. The writing and invoicing of internal new car pre-delivery inspectionrepair orders are also integral aspects of the Internal Service Advisor'sposition.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Ensuring that all internal vehicles move smoothlythrough the shop and attain a ready-for-sale status in a timely manner.
• Interacting respectfully and tactfully with allcolleagues.
• Addressing internal concerns or misunderstandingsprofessionally.
• Ensuring that all documentation is duly completedwithin the stated timeframe.
• Verifying pre-authorization costs, parts availability,and invoicing.
• Monitoring repair orders from initiation to conclusionand updating the Used Car Manager, Dispatch, and Technician on the progressmade utilizing Rapid Recon software.
