    Description

    MaxSys Staffing & Consulting is looking to hire a Full Time Heavy-Duty 310T Mechanic in Vaughan, located near Langstaff/Creditstone. This position will have you work on a fleet of garbage trucks for a very successful waste management company. The Heavy-Duty Mechanic will work directly with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all vehicles meet all provincial regulations and standards, and WCC safety standards.

    This is a FULL TIME, PERMANENT opportunity only. NO STUDENTS.

    MUST PASS CRIMINAL RECORD BACKGROUND CHECK

    NO CASH, SIN ONLY

    Salary: $39.21/hour + $3/hour shift premium ($42.21/hour)
    Shift: Afternoons, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 9:30pm

    JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Hydraulics/brakes repair
    • Minor engine repair
    • Preventative maintenance
    • Responsible for maintaining equipment and vehicles in a safe and working order
    • Ensure vehicles meet provincial safety regulations and standards


    Job Requirements:

    EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS

    • 310T LICENCE (MANDATORY)
    • 2-3 years of verifiable Diesel Truck/Heavy Equipment experience
    • Solid knowledge of Air Brakes and Hydraulics repair
    • A and B Services experience
    • Computer diagnostic experience would be an asset.
    • Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
