Position Summary:
Acuren is actively seeking Certified CEDO Technicians or EDO Trainees to bolster our operations in Burnaby, BC.

Responsibilities:


  • Operate radiographic exposure devices for nondestructive testing, adhering to established procedures and safety protocols to conduct examinations with precision and effectiveness.
  • Maintain rigorous radiation safety measures, including the use of proper shielding and constant monitoring, to safeguard individuals involved in testing and the broader public, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on exposure devices, perform tests, and calibrate equipment to uphold optimal functionality, thereby ensuring the reliability and accuracy of radiographic operations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of radiographic activities, documenting exposure details, safety measures, and incidents. Ensure compliance with regulatory documentation standards and promptly submit required reports to regulatory bodies

Requirements:


  • CEDO Certification
  • Diversified experience in NDT or related field
  • Strong work ethics
  • Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness
  • Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
  • Selfmotivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
  • Valid driver's license
  • Position requires local or willing to relocate (not CAMP/LOA available)
