Reporting to the Director, International Education and Development, the incumbent will lead all digital recruitment, marketing, and business development as it relates to international department initiatives and priorities and provides strategic and innovative direction for shaping the full spectrum of digital recruitment and market engagement from all key global markets.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing the digital engagement strategy and oversee a coordinated approach, with portfolio managers and a wide range of activities and services as it relates to international department goals.


Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, managing, and participating in a global digital international strategy including direct recruitment activities
  • Creating and maintaining a strong digital recruitment and brand environment
  • Inviting feedback from international partners and internal college staff to enhance relationships for future collaboration
  • Evaluating, reviewing, and reporting on outcomes and making recommendations for internal policy and procedural improvements at the completion of a recruitment cycle or project
  • Establishing an annual plan for digital recruitment through digital opportunities, platforms, and strategy development as it relates to enrolment goals and outcomes, in collaboration with the Director
  • Providing leadership and accountability for digital channel and asset management and developing and overseeing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy including social media, virtual fairs, and live chat to support recruitment
  • Providing team and people leadership to direct reports in both digital and communications roles
  • Implementing and evaluating a longterm digital strategy focused on key milestones and expanded brand awareness
  • Providing cultural leadership where required on key markets requiring direct consultation on cultural and linguistic strategies and factors
  • Developing, leading, and managing the international digital engagement strategy, as it relates to larger collegewide digital innovation; and overseeing a coordinated approach with portfolio managers and a wide range of activities and services for international recruitment and international department priorities and service goals
  • Managing the multifaceted engagement, development and implementation strategy for all digital initiatives, channel management, projects, design, and integration, and ensuring needs analysis for all international digital projects engaged by/for department
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and consultation as it relates to the collegewide digital innovation strategy to internal and external partners as well as guidance and counsel to the Director and Dean
  • Investigating and proposing business solutions for system development and/or customer service opportunities and initiatives that will result in efficiency and streamlined operations for the international department and its partners
  • Managing all incoming request for digital/virtual opportunities both internally and externally and representing international in all collegewide initiatives ensure alignment with international department strategy
  • Managing and sourcing vendors
  • Providing project leadership for various digital initiative
  • Forecasting, managing, and reconciling digital strategy budgets on a monthly and annual basis
  • Managing and negotiating contracts with digital platform and recruitment providers
  • Requesting budgets from departmental global budget on an annual basis
  • Identifying budget variances on a quarterly basis to the Director
  • Ensuring that budget reforecasts are managed to ensure that the actual amounts are within 10% of forecast at yearend

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Successfully completed a threeyear postsecondary diploma/degree in Business or another related field
  • A minimum of five years' international management experience in an educational setting or management experience in digital recruitment/marketing in international education
  • Direct experience in building relationships in digital recruitment strategy and working with digital promotion and recruitment providers
  • Extensive experience in student recruitment and digital marketing
  • Experience building digital promotion campaigns and working with digital providers to implement systems
  • Demonstrated experience working with Information Technology, Digital innovation and multimedia projects and requirements; ability to build a project with those aspects in mind
  • Experience in managing complex digital and media campaigns or system implementation initiatives, ability to counsel, lead and collaborate
