Basic Purpose of Position:

This position provides administrative support to: MOC (Maintenance Operational Control), Procurement, Engine & Component groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for key managers in the Halifax base.
Order supplies and monitor expenses.
Prepare business travel for the Manager and other staff as required.
Build and administer yearly work schedules for the groups making sure all formulas are functioning and calculated properly.
Provide backup to other administrative positions when on vacation.
Coding invoices through Ariba and TRAX system as well as manually coding system.
Own certain DLs (distribution lists) and keep them upto date.
Delegate for signing HIAA (Halifax International Airport Authority) security forms and holder of visitor passes.
Perform document control duties.
Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of coworkers and customers.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent is required and Post-Secondary education an asset.
Must have at least 2 years of experience working in an office environment.
Knowledge of Maintenance environment and airline operational experience will be considered an asset.
