Job Summary:
A curb and gutter concrete worker is tasked with the installation, repair, and maintenance of curbs, gutters, and other concrete structures.
This role involves preparing sites for concrete pouring, setting forms, pouring concrete, finishing surfaces, and ensuring the quality and durability of the finished product.

Responsibilities:
Site Preparation:
Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, excavating trenches, and leveling the ground to create a stable foundation for concrete work.
Formwork Setup:
Construct forms using wood, metal, or plastic to outline the shape and dimensions of curbs, gutters, or other concrete structures.
Concrete Pouring:
Mix and pour concrete into the prepared forms using concrete mixers and other equipment according to project specifications and industry standards.
Finishing:
Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to achieve desired texture and appearance.
Jointing:
Create control and expansion joints in the concrete to control cracking and allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature changes.
