    Avalon Advanced Materials Inc. is a Canadian mineral development company based in Toronto. Specializing in critical metals and minerals with increasing demand in new technology, Avalon has five critical minerals projects across Canada, providing exposure to various minerals. Avalon is at the forefront of adopting best practices to reduce environmental impact and engage with local communities.

    What you will do as Investor Relations Specialist:

    • Develop Avalon's Investor Relations strategy with senior executives;
    • Be the main contact for investor inquiries and prepare responses;
    • Manage external communication materials and investor news flow;
    • Conduct research on key investors and industry trends;
    • Prepare materials for AGMs and Quarterly Investor meetings;
    • Create target lists for investor outreach;
    • Manage Investor Relations contracts and database;
    • Contribute to special projects for Avalon's benefit.

    Qualifications for success:

    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance, business, communications, or related field;
    • 5-8 years experience in a similar role; sector experience is a plus;
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
    • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills;
    • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels;
    • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills;
    • Collaborative with a team-focused mindset;
    • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple tasks;
    • Eager to learn and flexible to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
