Summary:

Canderel is seeking an energetic Sustainability Coordinator with a broad range of responsibilities.The coordinator will be an upbeat individual who desires an opportunity to be a part of a vibrant, fast paced work environment with a high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Sustainable Building Operations
- Support the development of tools and procedures to decarbonize buildings managed by Canderel.
- Assist technical services team in identifying, prioritizing, and recommending ESG projects for both capital improvement and operational projects.
- Implement minimum practices and environmental standards.
- Provide property management teams with strategic advisory services for energy efficiency and lowcarbon projects.
- Assist property management teams in the development of tenant engagement programs and events.
- Oversee and lead green building certifications (LEED, BOMA BEST, Fitwel, WELL, RHFAC, ZCB Standard).
- Manage mandatory and voluntary utility reporting duties on behalf of building's owners.
- Contribute to Canderel's annual ESG Report.
- Support the development of tools to report, track and analyse a broad range of Key Performances Indicators, related to building's environmental performance and other sustainability priorities.
- Engage leadership and investment teams on various ESGoriented topics.
- Support the development of sustainability vision and strategies for new construction.
- Develop sustainability guidelines and standards for development and construction activities.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- 02 years of relevant work experience in engineering, environmental, sustainability and ESG sectors.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, climate change or related academic major.
- Real Estate / Property Management experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of sustainability, energy management, carbon accounting, climate risk resiliency.
- Proven analytical skills, including collecting and interpreting data efficiently.
- Advanced problemsolving skills and proven ability to develop practical solutions.
- Strong written and oral communication.
