Job summary

As a caseworker for The Salvation Army's New Roots Transitional Housing program you will possess strong communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with people who are vulnerable or experiencing difficult situations. You will also have excellent problem-solving skills as well as being able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key duties include conducting participant assessments,
  • Gathering information from Participant meetings to identify barriers to housing;
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans outlining goals and steps taken by staff members;
  • Sourcing appropriate housing options for Participants post transition into community?
