    Description

    The roles you might be:
    K-12 Math Instructor
    Familiar with local mathematics teaching of local elementary and secondary school, SAT Mathematics, SSAT Mathematics(familiar with two or more is preferred)
    Familiar with the BC curriculum Math and math competitions.
    Familiar with the North American education system.
    AP Math Instructor (AP Calculus or AP Statistics)
    Proficiency in using the online platform for teaching.
    Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to test type and students.
    Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
    Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the AP past paper.
    Tutor-tailored AP courses based on the student level and needs.
    Develop AP Prep Materials if needed.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Math, Education, etc.) with relevant education experience.
    Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
    Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
    Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
    Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.

    Ease of Commute:
    Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.

    Experience:
    Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.

    Teaching Certification:
    Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.
