ABOUT THE ROLE
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 57 years experience in payroll and accounting, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Experience in customer service, or guest/member relations.
- Formal education in Accounting (Bachelor's degree is preferred).
- High level working knowledge of computerized accounting systems required.
- Knowledge of the private club industry considered an asset.
SALARY/BENEFITS
- $65,000+ per year commensurate with experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Process salaried and hourly payroll and resolves all payroll related issues.
- Prepare and post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Attend committee meetings and liaise with Club Members, the Board of Directors, and external parties.
- Ensure club's financial policies are implemented and followed.
- Provide training, support, and development to accounting staff.
- Act as the key point of contact for payroll in the implementation of a new HRIS.
- Assist with yearend audit.
- Provide back up support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as required.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
