We seek excellent students, faculty, and staff to join us in what has become known as the "Western Experience" - an opportunity to contribute to a better world through the development of new knowledge, new abilities, new connections, and new ways to make a difference.

About Us:

The Richard Ivey School of Business is Canada's premier business school, recognized worldwide for the quality of its management programs.

The HBA program is one of the central business units within the Ivey Business School.

It makes a significant financial contribution to the School's operating budget and is identified strategically as the school's flagship program.

The Ivey HBA Program is a second-entry program (students enter the program in year three of their university experience).

The HBA Program Services Team supports approximately 1400 students across HBA 1 and HBA 2 along with Dual Degree students and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting.

The Academic Advisor will provide excellent in-program experience for close to 1600 HBA students. The Academic Advisor is the first point of contact related to most academic inquiries and concerns for our students and partners with our Program Coordinators during various academic events (e.g. add/drop, elective pre-registration and adjudication).

The Academic Advisor also partners with the Academic Advisor (Team Lead) in academic planning discussions and helps to navigate and advise on academic policy with students and faculty Increasingly, this role is critical to the student experience, not just in elements of advising that involve academic matters, but in personal, sometimes quite serious matters that involve the well-being of our students, partnering with on campus resources to ensure all of our students have access to the attention they need.
