As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for proving support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.


What you'll do:

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
  • Perform job risk analysis and communicate high potential risks to FM. Ensure approved JSA are attached in Sharepoint.
  • Prepares surfaces for painting, including filling holes and cracks, scrapping, sanding, and priming. Applies paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and/or exterior surfaces, using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
  • Cleans up the work area and properly stores equipment and materials.

"What you'll need:


  • Must have at least 3 years of painting experience for both interior and exterior work.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 12 years of jobrelated experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders up to 30 ft high, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
