In your role, you will:

Conduct onsite supplier assessments to review supplier performance with a focus on quality control & assurance aspects.
Quality Control processes: Evaluation of supplier's quality control processes and procedures to ensure product meets the requirements and industry standards.
Yield Performance: Review supplier yield performance, costs due to poor quality including inspection costs, rework % and scrap %
Quality management systems/ tools: Review of tools/ systems used to log quality/ nonconformance issues and finalize product dispositions.
Identify gaps & improvement opportunities for supplier's quality management processes to ensure adherence to item specifications, enabling better supplier performance.
Assist team in preparing supplier assessment reports / scorecards outlining risks/ issues/ mitigation steps from a quality perspective.
Prepare and maintain a log of manufacturing related supplier risks and agreed on corrective/ improvement actions.
Collaborate with appropriate team members to track and resolve recurring supplier issues/ risks.

Qualifications

You have more than 7 years of experience in either quality management/ control or product/ process engineering in an Industrial mfg. environment, Bachelor's degree or equivalent work exp.
You hold working knowledge and understanding of quality systems, standards and procedures relevant to industrial manufacturing.
You have excellent relationship management skills, strong business acumen, and demonstrated ability to link capability assessment outcomes to Business Objectives
You have strong Data analysis/ synthesis and problemsolving skills to consolidate assessment observations, identify mfg. risks and outline improvement actions
70% travel requirements
