  • Lead operators and production units, ensuring that they meet set performance, deadline, quantity, and quality targets.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures established by the company (quality, work schedules, absences, discipline, etc.);
  • Perform regular shop floor rounds in all production units;
  • Organize and coordinate the production in the various production cells;
  • Assign workload and production targets to each resource (machine, worker);
  • Implement preestablished production rates;
  • Provide followup on the plant's 5S;
  • Evaluate the training needs of work team members;
  • Provide technical support to the various departments;
  • Participate in resolving production issues;
  • Participate in resolving quality issues.
  • Experience in working with unionized teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools and SAP
  • What You Bring
  • College degree in industrial engineering, operations management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel management in the industrial sector
  • Knowledge of quality assurance
  • Knowledge of Lean principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide training.
  • Languages: French is required, English, Spanish or Portuguese are an asset.
