How You'll Make an Impact
Lead operators and production units, ensuring that they meet set performance, deadline, quantity, and quality targets.
Ensure compliance with procedures established by the company (quality, work schedules, absences, discipline, etc.);
Perform regular shop floor rounds in all production units;
Organize and coordinate the production in the various production cells;
Assign workload and production targets to each resource (machine, worker);
Implement preestablished production rates;
Provide followup on the plant's 5S;
Evaluate the training needs of work team members;
Provide technical support to the various departments;
Participate in resolving production issues;
Participate in resolving quality issues.
Experience in working with unionized teams.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools and SAP
What You Bring
College degree in industrial engineering, operations management or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel management in the industrial sector
Knowledge of quality assurance
Knowledge of Lean principles
Strong communication skills and ability to provide training.
Languages: French is required, English, Spanish or Portuguese are an asset.
