Thanks to our rapid growth, we are seeking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The Quality Assurance Inspector will support the activities of supplier quality control and inspection of manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities:_

- measure product dimensions, examining functionality of products and comparing final products to see if standards are meet;
- look through drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design requirements of products;
- document inspection findings and complete detailed reports and performance records;
- interact with engineering and manufacturing groups to find best resolutions for critical discrepancies as applicable.

Requirements:_

- strong technical background in quality control and inspection of large machinery and precision machined parts;
- able to read assembly drawings, blueprints, and specifications;
- machining/millwright trades experience;
- experience with dimensional inspections of precision machined steel components;
- experience using inspection instruments;
- working knowledge of ASTM & CSA Material Standards, ASME Inspection Standards, CWB Welding Standards;
- proficient in using Word, Excel, Outlook, MRP systems, Google Drive, CAD systems;
- familiar with quality management systems ISO 9001;
- strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize and manage time on multiple projects;
- able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others;

  • College level technical education or apprenticeship in trade related to manufacturing, steel fabrication processes or production of machining operations;
- apprenticeship/trade experience related to manufacturing - manual or CNC machining, millwright or fabrication/welding processes;
- able to lift or move items weighing up to 25 lbs.;
- have a valid driver's license and own transportation for local travel.
