SUMMARY

The newest member of the Plate Freezer Workers team will support a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to loading and unloading plate freezers with our products, assist in shipping and receiving of finishing products and goods.

THE ROLE:

Participate in a safe work culture, comply with all Company Occupational Health and Safety Policies and promote safety awareness at all times
Loading and unloading plate freezers.
Reading and recording date codes and maintaining proper and accurate paperwork
Responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of your work area
Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Forklift certification is considered an asset, but not required
Good verbal communication skills to maintain open dialogue with supervisor, and fellow employees
Must be able to lift, push and/or pull up to 50lbs
Must be capable and comfortable working in a cool environment and wearing appropriate PPE
Reliable, punctual and ability to work to timelines
Positive, friendly and professional customer service skills

Working Schedule:
Hours of work vary based on production needs. Some evenings & Weekends during peak season. (Overtime hours available)

Reporting to:
Refrigeration Supervisor
