We are looking for an experienced Accounting and Finance Associate to support the Reesink Canada Lloydminster team and support dealerships we are affiliated.

Main duties

  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
  • Calculate and prepare payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills
  • Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
  • Prepare the company's yearend entries.
- maintaining Accounts Receivable sub-ledger, reconciling warranty transactions, calculating commissions, post bank entries, preparing month-end accruals, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Employment Requirement

  • Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk is required.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in public/ industry accounting/finance with a university degree.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • College Diploma with industry experience

Experience:


  • Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
  • Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
  • Finance department: 5 years (preferred)
  • Recent university graduates with relevant industry experience

Work Location:
Lloydminster, Alberta
