Intermediate Spatial Analyst - Calgary, Canada - CCI Inc.

CCI uses the ESRI suite of software to provide innovative solutions that include machine learning, spatial analysis and process optimization to build beautiful deliverables.
You will be a code master that takes pride in optimizing process to support our environmental and geotechnical teams.
You will have the opportunity to learn from a group of over 100 environmental and geotechnical experts both in the office and the field.
You will join a team of more than 20 ESRI users and be an integral part of our GIS Team.
Location:
- Calgary
Accountabilities:
- Create, update and manage geospatial data layers using documented standards.
- Create maps and map templates for clients across the organization to support GIS needs.
- Participate in development and maintenance of processes, tools, methodologies and automation processes required to support our business.
- Deliver assigned GIS project deliverables on time and on budget.
- Ensure quality control, job organization, and tracking of plans to completion.
- Work with clients and project team to determine project scopes, budget, schedule and deliverables.
- Build relationships with clients and help CCI grow our business.
- Responsible for management and quality of map production, GIS datasets and Alignment Sheets.
- Organize and manage GIS datasets, collect, manipulate, analyze and present spatial information throughout daily operations.

Qualifications (required):
years of applicable experience in a GIS role.
- Related degree, diploma or certificate from a Technical College.
- Proficiency (either in school or professionally) with the Esri suite of products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail oriented, meticulous, and have strong organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCad and data conversion with ESRI.
- Previous working experience with Alignment sheets software (Lightning, Skyline,Sheetcutter)
- Strong Analysis skills, Imagery and LiDAR, Linear referencing and 3D experience.
Other Assets:
- Workingtowards or hascompleted a Bachelor of ScienceDegree in a naturalresourceprogram (Forestry or Environment), CivilEngineering or Geomatics
- Engineering, with an interest in the geological/geotechnical engineering specialization.
- Working towards registration with a professional organization (professional forester, biologist, chemist, geologist, engineer, etc.)
- Willingness to learn and take additional responsibilities.
- Familiarity with the latest GIS technology trends in Web Mapping, Web Apps (Survey123, Field Maps), Dashboards and Web Apps.
- Driver's license with a clean driving record.
