Job Description:
OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Additional duties will include:
- Assessing compliance with relevant sections of FSRA acts, regulations, policies and requirements as part of the overall licensing and registration review process.
- Providing client services to representatives of registrant or license applicants.
- Conducting research and analysis of issues identified during the process and preparing reports outlining policy, compliance, risk management and enforcement issues.
- Participating in the research and analysis of potential legal actions against license and registration applicants and acting as an expert witness at legal hearings/court proceedings.
- Participating in the review and analysis of licensing and registration procedures, methods, systems, and processes for the administration of applicable legislation.
- Developing and presenting seminars, training presentations and acting as a guest speaker at conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Specialized Knowledge and Experience Knowledge/understanding of current issues and trends as they relate to the licensing, registration and enforcement of client financial services sectors.
Skills:
- Demonstrated customer service, oral communication and presentation skills to provide information, consultation services and training to a range of client applicants and to act as an expert witness at legal hearings and court proceedings.
- Demonstrated written communication skills to prepare research reports, rationale and correspondence
