    Description

    Our focus is on Energy sector, particularly in transmission and distribution (T&D), and it is rapidly expanding.

    This growth, coupled with the acquisition of significant projects, necessitates the hiring of multiple individuals with a background or keen interest in the thriving green and renewable industry.

    These Distribution Technicians will be situated in one of our Greater Montreal offices and will collaborate with a team of distinguished experts.

    • Engage in project design, ensuring adherence to quality and cost benchmarks, as well as conduct field surveys.
    • Visit sites to assess work requirements, perform field surveys, and design overhead and/or underground power distribution networks.
    • Create technical drawings utilizing AutoCAD software and work with geographical information systems (GIS).
    • Provide on-site (full-time) or occasional work oversight and closely monitor project progress.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated certificate or diploma in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or telecommunications.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and MS Office suite.
    • Ability to multitask across various projects, prioritize client satisfaction, and service delivery.
    • Willingness to engage in short-term travel to work sites, up to 10% of the time.
    • Fluency in written and spoken French.
    • Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
    • Familiarity with geographical information systems (GIS) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of PLSCADD is considered a plus.
