Job Summary
Installs, repairs or replaces floorings such as tile, marble, Vinyl Composition Tile, linolium and carpet.

Job Duties

Measures, cuts and installs carpets in a variety of locations, including hotel rooms
Heat seams carpets, installs or changes damaged vinyl baseboard, cuts ceramic tiles, grouts, silicones and caulks tiles
Repairs linolium and welds seams, repairs cracked or chipped marble surfaces, repairs trip hazards such as loose carpet seams, installs glue under the gaming floor
Logs daily activities and materials used, orders tools and supplies
Maintains the work area in a clean and safe manner, complies with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission regulations
Complies with Windsor Casino Limited policies and procedures
Performs other related tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

Certificate of Apprenticeship in Flooring
Grade 12 or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to lift heavy tools
Must be able to work all shifts
Occasional medium lifting
