EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or employerapproved alternative. The employerapproved alternative to a high school diploma is an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Degree equivalency


EXPERIENCE

  • Experience providing client service and dealing with clients or the general public verbally (by telephone or in person), and in writing.
  • Experience in the use of various software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel or any other equivalent softwares.
  • Experience providing administrative support services in an office environment.

  • Postsecondary diploma in a program related to the position (occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, industrial relations, office automation, administration, etc.).

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working or participating in the field of occupational health and safety.
  • Experience in human resources administrative support.
  • Experience planning, coordinating and providing administrative services to a manager and/or work team.
  • Experience maintaining computer and administrative systems, such as data entry, verification and error correction.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to travel to various locations administered by the Field Unit.
  • Willingness to wear Parks Canada uniform occasionally, if required.

Conditions of employment:

Reliability Status security clearance

Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
