We are looking for a Curator, Indigenous Histories and Contemporary Cultures, North

What we are looking for:


  • Scholarly Expertise and/or Community Knowledge;
  • Great communication skills in;
  • Knowledge of material culture;
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaborative projects;
  • Understanding of the Canadian Museum of History's operating environment and strategic directions.

Relevant and recent experience in:


  • Relevant Master's degree (a PhD is an asset);
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience

Knowledge of:


  • Indigenous cultures in the artic or subartic regions;
  • Material culture; Museum practices and operating environment;

Compensation:
$87,186 to $ 102,674
