Associate Marketing Commercialization Lead

POSITION SCOPE:

The Associate Marketing Commercialization Lead plays an essential part on the Marketing Team within Exclusive Brands. Responsible for leading the innovation-to-market process; successfully commercializing many SKUs for both Canadian and US Markets.


Lead the packaging design process by closely working with a cross-functional team to ensure artwork, merchandising configuration and materials selected meet our brand's positioning and margin hurdles.

This individual also reviews and improves existing packaging designs and manages new product launches from development stage to production launch.

As part of the Marketing Team, this position will also be responsible for any miscellaneous ad hoc projects which fall under the Marketing umbrella.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Packaging Coordination: Collaborate with designers and suppliers to coordinate all label details and carton markings to capture customer's expectations and various regulatory requirements of the international markets Exclusive Brands is distributed in. Develop and maintain a system to effectively track all changes. Ensure correct labels are used on all customer product in compliance with CFIA and FDA requirements.
  • Administration: Compile packaging library and update as needed, including item codes, product specifications, technical drawings, inventory codes, finished goods codes, etc. Document and keep track of packaging information and changes.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


  • College/University degree specializing in Marketing, Package Design, Project Management, or a similar discipline.
years consumer packaged goods experience with a proven history of taking new products to market.

  • Computer knowledge and skills
  • Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and Adobe Acrobat and Canva preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience with regulations and GMP requirements.
  • High level of organizational skills, including fanatical attention to detail, ability to multitask, work in a high paced environment and capable of managing many projects simultaneously.
