Job Purpose and Impact


The Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain North America (CASC NA) Business HR Leader will collaborate with business leaders within a group to execute critical human resources strategy, organizational design, leadership development, strategic workforce planning and talent management, team and organization effectiveness and change management.

In this role, you will be a champion for change to advance organizational goals and key strategic initiatives and translate and execute business strategies, challenges and human resources needs.

You will be a member of the CASC NA Canada Leadership team and CASC NA HR Team where you'll tackle complex issues in a global matrix organization.

This position is responsible for the CASC NA Canada region supporting cross border teams in the United States and Canada.


This role offers a remote work opportunity in Manitoba, Alberta, or Saskatchewan.
Key Accountabilities


Build strategic partnerships with leadership on business issues and identify innovative and customer oriented human resources solutions that are based on business unit objectives to drive strategy execution and protect business assets.

Collaborate on the development of metrics and analytics to assess overall human and organization health of the business to influence decisions and deliver meaningful insights.

Use business and industry trend expertise to identify gaps and anticipate impact of changes on the workforce and business.
Continuously identify opportunities to drive value in the business and pursue the resources needed for support.
Guide, coach and influence business leaders on making better talent decisions to drive strategy execution and business performance.
Develop and build new capabilities in the business.

Serve as an experienced advisor on our leadership team to lead a talent strategy and ensure business objectives are achieved.

Lead and champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts across Cargill.

Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.

You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field
Professional certification in human resources
Proven track record in leading significant change in a matrix organization
Experience working in a regional or global role, supporting multiple countries.
