Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 180,000 sq feet of facilities that are focused on composite, metal or hybrid sub-assemblies for major aeronautical players and innovating global solutions.

The
Curing Operator is responsible for loading and unloading curing equipment as well as curing parts and performing post cure duties.

In this role, you will:

Set up and operate curing equipment such as ovens and autoclaves
Load and unload autoclaves using handling carts and forklifts
Operate autoclave computer to set cure times and start/stop ovens
Determine proper cure procedures for parts and tools as required
Monitor cures in compliance with autoclave procedures
Maintain autoclave and oven tools, such as vacuum hoses and thermocouples
Read work instructions, production schedules, and cure charts
Ensure traceability by verifying all paperwork prior to cure
Maintain clean and safe work environment, identifying hazards and ensuring controls are in place to perform work safely at all times
Ensure completeness and accuracy of all data requirements as specified in STELIA North America procedures and work control documents
Identify nonconforming parts, conditions, and manufacturing processes
Complete all required documentation according to regulatory standards and policies and procedures

You have:

A High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in a mechanical assembly or aeronautics environment
The ability to read and comprehend drawings, specifications and other technical documents
High attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
A proven track record of working safely
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
