Description

Our Fire Shop Technician will be responsible for completing and supporting inspection, testing and repair work related to fire protection and related equipment.

Some of the additional expectations of this role include:

Inspecting, testing, and servicing fire extinguishers;
Inspecting and testing fire hoses;
Servicing life saving appliances;
Ensuring timely and quality completion of work orders;
Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities;
Monitoring parts inventory and equipment maintenance requirements;
Following all safe work practices and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job; and
Participating in oncall/call out emergency service as required.
