The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Bioinformatician. This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 12 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension. Seeking a bioinformatics specialist to work on genomics of rare disease using model organism and human genomics approaches.The bioinformatician will be responsible for testing and implementing new bioinformatics approaches,
the maintenance of the 'dry' lab databases
and collaborative lab computing environment,
support to trainees
and computational administrative duties of the laboratory.
