Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for an Asset Integrity Specialist to join their team on a 1-year contract in Rainbow Lake, AB.

The Asset Integrity (AI) Specialist is a key member of the Conventional Business Unit AI team.

The A&OI Specialist is accountable for executing the field implementation of the AI Program, in support of the Integrated Partnership model in Production Operations.

The AI Specialist does this by maintaining a high level of technical ability and managing activities related to mechanical integrity, pipeline integrity, chemical applications, corrosion identification and mitigation, inspection and monitoring techniques, and failure analysis.

Internal and external inspection of Pressure Vessels, pressure piping and boilers at the Rainbow Lake Plant and field facilities,
Planning, scheduling and supervision of NDE activities in the plant and field,
Participating in / leading the incident investigation and failure analysis of pressure equipment failures,
Support, participated and follow-up for internal and regulatory audits,
Coordinate/supervise the completion of all required NDE activities performed by contractors,
Complete thorough investigations and failure analyses of pressure equipment-related failures,
Provide input into business, budgeting and T/A planning activities.
Experience in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.)
Knowledge of pipeline codes and regulations is an asset.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel an asset
A Technologist diploma in Materials, Chemical, Petroleum, Welding, or other relevant Engineering Technology program
API-570, 653 and National Board Certifications are not required but are considered an asset
Valid Class 5 driver's license and acceptable abstract
