- Key Housing Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Manager of Play Housing Services
- Preparing and sending requests for proposals to housing properties like hotels
- Securing and contracting room blocks from housing properties
- Allocating room blocks to teams participating in related events
- Handling inbound customer service inquiries
- Managing invoicing and associated financial transactions
- Adhering to Play Housing's internal controls and best practices
- Key Flight Responsibilities:
- Identifying and securing group flight blocks for international travel
- Booking families traveling to Play Hockey's international events on group and individual flights
- Providing excellent customer service and support to families who have booked flights through Play's flight services group
- Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Delivering top-notch customer service is paramount due to the experiential nature of traveling to Play Hockey events. Patients and empathy are critical in addressing various customer needs and challenges.
- Offering strong support services to internal customers/stakeholders like Hockey Operators
- Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills for multitasking
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and invoice tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
- Understanding of invoicing, collections, and financial reconciliation procedures
- Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills
- Ability to listen actively and address customer needs adeptly
- Capacity to handle and resolve customer complaints diplomatically
- Problem-solving skills for quick resolution of customer issues

As a Housing and Travel Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting Play Hockey's internal housing and flight groups.
