We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Human Resources Generalist to join our team This team member will report to the Office Manager and CFO gaining invaluable knowledge from their experience and developing more internal structures to sustain our goals and our growth.
The primary focus will be overseeing the daily functions including recruitment, processing payroll, administering benefits, handling matters pertaining to the plant operations at the facilities including enforcing company policies, accident/incident investigations, conditions of employment, staff training, absenteeism control programs, and other administrative tasks.
This role is critical in ensuring operational support to the HR team through supporting all manners of administrative tasks and requests related to general queries, processes, systems, policies and general HR administration, escalating enquiries where necessary.
Hensen Holdings is the parent of various companies composing up to 220 employees and multiple payrolls.Job Description (Key Responsibilities):
- Support and coordinate recruitment for open positions; arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies
- Process, verify and maintain personnel related documentation including staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations and attendance
- Record data for each employee including addresses, weekly earnings, absences supervisory report on performance and date and reasons for terminations
- Enrol new employees in facial scanner for payroll
- Assist with onboarding process of new employees, prepare employee packages and enrol employees into online training program/certifications
- Assist with coordinating the foreign worker programs
- Explain company personnel policies, benefits and procedures to employees or job applicants
- Assist with company benefit program administration
- Communicate effectively with employees on aspects of their employment and benefit related queries
- Assist with planning and scheduling of inhouse and external training necessary for all employees
- Maintain records regarding training and certification of employees
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of company policy and procedures
- Attention to detail is essential
- 5+ years experience required
Job Types:

$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
