Wage:
In accordance with Collective Agreement
($22.315to $23.19 per hr + 6% pay-in-lieu of benefits, after 480hrs of probationary hours are completed)

Hours of Work:
Day shift only, no overnights

Location:
Main Site, Holland Centre

We are currently looking for a
Casual Cook for our main site in Holland Centre, home to 22 residents.

Our Casual Cook prepares nutritious and attractive meals for our supported individuals in accordance with the Canada Food Guide while complying with Public Health standards.

Shifts are generally 11 hrs, offering multiple choices with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Shifts are to cover vacations and other absences according to the Collective Agreement.

All of our Cooks must meet these basic requirements:
Cook Level 2

Drivers licence with clean abstract

Safe Food Handling Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Able to follow dietary requirements/instructions
Be comfortable working independently and with kitchen helpers
CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention certified or _willingness to complete in-house training._

Please note, successful applicants will be required to provide an uptodate criminal background check, including a vulnerable sector screen, as well as a comprehensive Health Screen._
